Baa Ram Ewe’s Faded British Breeds is a subtle washed-out colour range that blends fibre from a North of England Mule (this is a cross of a Bluefaced Leicester Ram and a Northumberland Mule Ewe) with less than 25% dyed British wool. The natural kemp in this fleece gives the yarn an authentic British wool look.
The British wool in this yarn is grown in the UK by British farmers that adhere to strict ethical standards and is graded by hand by the British Wool Board.
100% of the wool comes from non-mulesed sheep.
In accordance with BS 984
Hand wash and dry flat.
Based in a historic wool processing area in the Pennine hills of northern England, Baa Ram Ewe are passionate about wool.
When you choose Baa Ram Ewe yarns, you are not just selecting a product; you are embracing a tradition of craftsmanship and supporting ethical practices that keep the spirit of British wool alive.
