Handmade Yew Buttons by Tom Dyson (set of 6)

Handmade by Tom Dyson in The New Forest, England, these Yew wood buttons are fully functional and totally unique. The wood used for these buttons comes from a Yew Tree taken from a private garden due to it becoming unsafe. Tom acquired this tree directly from the tree surgeon and has processed the timber from raw logs through the air drying process into the buttons you order today. These are not rustic buttons, they are accurate to the size listed and each one is a beautiful piece of art.

The surfaces, thread holes and edges are sanded to be lovely and smooth. Danish Oil is applied as a final protective finish which creates a beautiful and durable finish that will not crack, chip, or flake. The result is a beautifully tactile button that will get better with age!

These buttons are suitable for dry cleaning or a cool hand wash.
