The Knitting Workshop
The Knitting Workshop is a place for fostering a love for knitting and crochet, a welcoming space where creativity and community thrive. Visitors can expect hands-on guidance, a supportive environment, and the joy of creating beautiful, handcrafted pieces.
Check out below all the workshops taking place from introduction to knitting to specific knitting techniques. I am Carmen, an experienced knitter and I’m going to be your knitting guide through various knitting techniques whether you are new to the technique or just looking for a refresh. You’ll also have the chance to learn from other visiting experts – check out the workshops below for details.

Knitting Confidence Booster
If you are able to knit and purl but haven’t knitted for a while and don’t feel confident enough to start a knitting project on your own, come in for a 1 hour session with me at the Knitting Workshop. This is an in-person solo appointment where you can refresh your knowledge about yarns and reading knitting patterns as well as any knitting techniques you might need. You can bring your own yarn, needles and knitting pattern or pick something up in the shop when you visit.
Crafty Social Knitters

We sit, we knit, we crochet, we chat, we laugh in the Knitting Workshop.
A small group of us getting together in person to spend some time offline and have fun talking patterns, sharing techniques and tips, or just enjoying knitting in the company of others.
All levels of knitting or crochet knowledge or experience, and other fibre crafters are welcome.
You can bring your own drink, cake, nibbles… or we can make you a cuppa…
